Bob Wexler co-founded PLW CPA PLLC in 2011. He brings his wide range of accounting and tax experience from over 20 years in the industry to each professional relationship. He has worked in all facets of public accounting, including tax, audit and business valuation for for large local firms in Metro Detroit prior to starting PLW. In addition, Bob held previous positions in private industry as a Chief Financial Officer and as an auditor at a large commercial bank. Bob's expansive background allows him to provide a high level of expertise to clients that extend beyond simply filing tax returns and preparing financial statements. PLW’s diverse client base of service, wholesale, retail and consulting companies shows the versatility, experience and skill of the company.

A Brief History of our Firm and Founders
Bob Wexler
Certified Public Accountant
Patty is a Co-Founder of PLW CPA PLLC. She started her career in public accounting in 2000. Patty runs our accounting, bookkeeping and payroll practice and works with our business clients to maintain accurate books and provide timely financial reporting to owners, management and third parties. Patty has extensive experience working with businesses of many sizes in a variety of industries. She has worked on numerous financial statement audits, reviews and compilations in service, retail, wholesale, not-for-profit and manufacturing.
Prior to rejoining PLW CPA in 2016 due to our rapid growth, Patty was the Global Director of Accounting and Compliance for a
Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in Troy, MI. In that position, she was the Company's primary contact point for accounting and audit related issues in the U.S. and Internationally, including China, Austria, Costa Rica and Mexico.

We established PLW CPA PLLC in 2011 after working for many years in public accounting and private industry. Our goal was to create a public accounting firm that reflects our business and personal values and our passion for helping individuals and small businesses grow and prosper. Our mission as a firm is to cultivate long term relationships with our clients and provide professional services in a friendly and timely manner and at a fair price. We want to be considered a trusted advisor that our clients can call with confidence. As entrepreneurs, small business owners and parents, we face many of the same challenges that greet our clients on a daily basis. We have also worked with countless small businesses of all types during our careers. This background puts us in a unique position to help our small business clients while understanding the challenges that they face owning a small business. We also understand the need for financial and retirement planning and business succession planning. Our individual tax clients benefit from our tax knowledge and expertise cultivated over 20+ years preparing tax returns for individuals. We have seen a lot along the way that helps us understand and apply current tax law to the benefit of our clients as well as staying abreast of the ever changing tax code.
