Established in 2011 by Bob and Patty Wexler, PLW CPA PLLC was created to provide exceptional professional accounting, tax, and advisory services within a warm, welcoming environment led by individuals who focus on fostering client relationships that extend beyond just tax-related issues. As a family-owned business based in Sterling Heights, our mission is to build trust grounded in integrity, expertise, and enduring connections.
Robert Wexler
Certified Public Accountant
Bob co-founded PLW CPA PLLC in 2011, bringing over 25 years of rich experience in accounting, taxation, and business insights to every professional endeavor. Before launching PLW, he gathered valuable skills across multiple areas of public accounting—including tax, audit, and business valuation—while working with leading local firms in the Metro Detroit area. In addition, Bob has assumed important positions in the private sector, serving as Chief Financial Officer and internal auditor at a prominent commercial bank. His profound business knowledge enables him to offer clients unparalleled expertise that extends well beyond the mere preparation of tax returns and financial statements.

Patricia Wexler
Certified Public Accountant
Patty co-founded PLW CPA PLLC in 2011, launching her career in public accounting in 2000. She oversees our accounting and bookkeeping services, collaborating with business clients to ensure their financial records are accurate and that timely financial reports are provided to owners, management, and third parties. With extensive experience across businesses of various sizes and industries, Patty has participated in numerous audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements in sectors including service, retail, wholesale, not-for-profit, and manufacturing while working at leading CPA firms in metro Detroit.
Before rejoining PLW CPA in 2016 amidst our rapid expansion, Patty held the position of Global Director of Accounting and Compliance for a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier based in Troy, MI. In that role, she served as the company's primary liaison for all accounting and audit-related matters both domestically and internationally, covering locations such as China, Austria, Costa Rica, and Mexico.

Stephanie Ventimiglia, CPA, brings a client-first approach to accounting and tax services at PLW CPA PLLC, where she joined the firm in 2020. With over 25 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and business owners, Stephanie specializes in working with small businesses and understanding the financial and tax impacts at the individual level. She focuses on simplifying complex financial matters and delivering practical, results-driven solutions. Clients value her attention to detail, personalized service, and commitment to helping them achieve financial clarity and peace of mind.

Justin Viola
Associate
Justin joined PLW CPA in 2022 as an Associate. Justin completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology but decided to pursue an accounting career instead and completed his Masters of Science in Professional Accountancy at Walsh College in 2025. He is currently working towards his CPA designation. Justin works closely with our clients providing expert accounting and tax services.
